Divorce to Shine ("we", "us") is operated by Yang Yi (Jade), Registered Psychologist (AHPRA). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights. It is written to align with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. What we collect

• Contact details: your name and email address, when you download the handbook or complete the discovery survey.
• Survey responses: the answers you choose and anything you write in the optional free-text field, which may include personal reflections about your circumstances.
• Booking details: if you schedule a call, the information you provide through our scheduling tool.
• Technical data: basic, non-identifying website analytics and cookies (see "Cookies" below).

We do not ask for, and request that you do not submit, sensitive clinical details, financial information, or government identifiers through this website.

2. How we use your information

• To send you the free handbook and the Shine Letters newsletter.
• To respond to you personally, and to arrange and hold a discovery conversation.
• To tell you about the Divorce to Shine program, including enrolment and pricing.
• To improve our website and content.

We only use your information for the purposes for which it was collected, or for related purposes you would reasonably expect.

3. Who we share it with

We use trusted third-party providers to run our service:

• Kit (ConvertKit) — email delivery and list management.
• Calendly — call scheduling.
• Netlify — website hosting.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers with their own privacy and security commitments. We never sell your personal information.

4. Confidentiality and scope

Divorce to Shine is a personal-development and educational program. It is not therapy, and the information you share through this website does not form part of a clinical health record and does not create a therapeutic or practitioner–patient relationship. Where Yang Yi (Jade) acts as your Registered Psychologist in a separate clinical context, that relationship and its records are governed separately by professional and AHPRA obligations.

5. Storage, security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

6. Your rights

• Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email.
• Ask to access the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete your information.

7. Cookies

Our website may use basic cookies to help the site work and to understand general usage. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as well.

8. Children

This website and program are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its "last updated" date, will always appear on this page.
